Mrzyk & Moriceau

Petra Mrzyck and Jean-François Moriceau are contemporary artists.
The duo has been working in tandem since 1999, making drawings, animations and music videos for different artists such as Air, Sébastien Tellier, Philippe Katerine and Jackson and his Computer Band.
Unafraid of delving into complex and contentious issues – anything from religion to technology – no theme intimidates them. The more inviolable perhaps the better. Their comical and provocative images, which are peppered with pop culture references, have gained them a cult following.
Their often sexy, sometimes perverse, and always witty illustrations have been exhibited in prestigious art institutions around the world, notably the Modern Art Museum of Paris, the MoMA in New York, and the LACMA in Los Angeles.
The duo’s work has been recognised by Ciclope, the Club des DAs, the UKMVAs and the D&AD Awards.
